Dr Susan and Dr Sarah are amazing! They have gone above and beyond for me. They spent a considerable amount of time trying to adjust my hearing aid (that was purchased elsewhere) so that it actually helped me. They also spent a ton of time exploring other options, such as accessories, to help me hear and understand in noisy environments. I can’t tell you how impressed with, and thankful, I am for them. They have made a HUGE impact on my life. They truly care about their patients and I highly recommend them to everyone!

I lost hearing in my right ear and was told there was nothing that could be done. WRONG!!! Jan asked to take a try. After at least an hour she figured out how to help me. I now hear very much improved! We have been recommending Alabama Hearing as my wife has been a patient for over 10 years. I can now say how great they are from my own experience. They are awesome! Getting hearing aids has been a challenging experience. I’m so glad I’m now under the care of Alabama Hearing Associates who include four Doctors of Audiology. Dr. Susan Sheehy spent two hours doing a battery of comprehensive tests that ended with programming/fitting my hearing aids using “Real Ear Measurement.” What a difference, as now I hear much better without occlusion or feedback. At Alabama Hearing Associates they treat your hearing loss and not just dispense hearing aids. I lost faith in the place from which I got my hearing aids, and I visited two other practices and was not impressed. The effective treatment of hearing loss goes way beyond just dispensing “hearing aids,” which sadly is what most hearing loss centers do. You can do research by watching Dr. Cliff on YouTube, especially his videos on “Real Ear Measurement.” In Alabama Hearing Associates, I finally found a place that adheres to “better practices’ in hearing loss treatment.

My experience with Dr Jan was very enjoyable. She went through my hearing aids with me so that I felt comfortable with them immediately and if I have any questions or problems I can go in anytime to get them resolved. I had a very nice experience with Hearing Associates.

I have tinnitus and mild hearing loss. Dr. Susan Sheehy is fabulous. I recently got hearing aids that have the option of having a masking sound that really helps reduce the annoyance of the tinnitus sound. The app on my smart phone is amazing with all the options. This is also a well-run office where you actually get a real person who is professional and pleasant to talk to every time you call. Outstanding audiologist practice.
