Philadelphia ( (listen) FILL-ah-dəl-FEE-ah), often called Philly, is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the second-largest city in both the Northeast megalopolis and Mid-Atlantic regions after New York City. It is one of the most historically significant cities in the United States and served as the nation's capital until 1800. Philadelphia is the nation's sixth-largest city with a population of 1,603,797 as of the 2020 census. Since 1854, the city has been coextensive with Philadelphia County, the most populous county in Pennsylvania and the urban core of the Delaware Valley, the nation's seventh-largest and one of the world's largest metropolitan regions with 6.245 million residents. Philadelphia is known for its extensive contributions to American history, especially the American Revolution, and for its contemporary influence in business and industry, culture, sports, and music.Philadelphia was founded in 1682 by William Penn, an English Quaker and advocate of religious freedom.
Had an amazing time at La Cucina with Anna and the team. We had a 60 person event, which can be hard to find a partner for, but they fit us in and helped put together a great menu! Not only did people enjoy making dishes and eating together, I've since received a LOT of requests for the recipes - which La Cucina was happy to share. Highly recommend coming here for your next team event!
AMAZING LOVELY EXPERIENCE the staff was so kind and wonderful and helpful and the ambience was perfect and the food was amazing and the concept is so so cool! i went as part of a school thing so it was wildly inexpensive, i docked a star because even though it is lovely the price point is definitely a stretch. however we made ravioli, pasta primavera, tomato sauce, n salad n got ice cream as well. there were charcuterie boards and small bites everywhere which was also sick. overall very cool experience !!!
WOW, what an amazing experience. Marie, Jess, Ana, Joey, and Alberto were my instructors for the day, and I LOVED IT! I went here for a company party with no expectations, they taught us how to make raviolis, pastas, chocolate lava cake, and so much more. They were professional and sassy (The fun kind). We learned, we ate, and most importantly we had so much fun!!!! I remember driving home with my plus one, and we talked about our experience the whole car ride home! Lovely establishment! P.S: WHEN POURING THE LAVA CAKE IN THE RAMEKINS, DO NOT LET IT DRIP. YOU DON'T WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU. :)
