GranFondo Cycling Tours San Diego

Starting in March 2009, GranFondo San Diego was the first-ever Grand Fondo event in the USA. The San Diego GranFondo was modeled after the Italian GranFondos. These are high-energy public cycling events attended by professionals, recreational cyclists and weakened warriors. In the spirit of Italian GranFondos, SDGF incorporates timed overall routes, KOM/QOM timed climbs, fantastic rest stops, route support mechanics and SAG, a fully included Italian lunch at the finish, along with a free massage, beer garden, and live band. Rest stop favorites include Nutella strawberry sandwiches and peanut butter, honey and banana delights.
