The Ultra-Guard Concept came out of my own experience as owner of a home furnishings showroom, where I contracted with a fabric protection service for my own customers.

I wanted to go beyond fabric protection and offer a concierge service for the design industry and their clients.

The concept was to not only protect the fabrics, but stand behind the protection with a service warranty and maintenance cleaning, using skilled upholstery cleaners.

To establish the model, I began working with designers and showrooms in Orange County, California.

After testing the available fabric protection products, I selected one I could actually stand behind with a 5-year service warranty, and began by doing the application myself, in order to train future service technicians.

My search for the best formula continued. Everytime a new product came out, I tested it for repellency of both water and oil based stains and for durability. If it out performed the one I was using, I went with the new one.
